Jack has been spinning and weaving for 30 years and potting for about 15 years.

Jack weaves floor rugs and wall hangings and he has done a number of commissions for both. Jack also makes wearable articles using wool, silk, possum, mohair and linen, both homespun and mill spun. The articles depend on colour and texture rather then pattern for effect.

The pottery he produces is mostly domestic stoneware bowls, platters, vases etc. Earthenware items for the garden include pots and troughs.
